On Friday, March 12, 2010, the KPFM Board voted to allow the Gig Harbor Farmers Market to launch a satellite farmers market where the Key Peninsula Farmers Market once operated.  The vote, which was not unanimous, dissolved the KPFM Board and closed the Key Peninsula Farmers Market.

Vendors interested in participating in the new market should contact the Gig Harbor Farmers Market directly.

On Friday, March 5, 2010, the KPFM Board voted for some operational changes which will alter the face of the Sunday afternoon Farmers Market. As a result of the decision, Holly Hendrick, who was a key figure in getting the Key Peninsula Farmers Market off the ground in 2008, stepped down from the Market Manager position.
